Sleigh Beds

Sleigh beds are sleigh-looking beds with scrolled or curved headboards and footboards. Their unique design was derived from ancient Greek and Roman culture, which created with luxurious and unique fashion. They are also called “French beds” because they were developed during the period of American and French empire in the early 1800s.

Traditionally made for elites and those who belonged to the higher ups in the society, sleigh beds are usually made of heavy wood.
